We are honored to welcome Yosef Chaim Ohana, survivor of 738 days in Hamas captivity, together with his close friend Daniel Sharabi, Nova survivor and co-founder of A Future for the Survivors and the Wounded.

YOSEF CHAIM OHANA
On the morning of October 7, Yosef Chaim Ohana was at the Nova Music Festival when the Hamas attack began. Rather than simply fleeing, Yosef helped evacuate and carry wounded people to safety under fire.
During the chaos, Yosef and Daniel were separated. Yosef was abducted into Gaza and held hostage by Hamas for 738 days, much of that time underground.
After two years in captivity, Yosef Chaim finally returned home in October 2025.


DANIEL SHARABI
Daniel Sharabi is a survivor of the Nova Music Festival massacre and a former IDF combat medic.
As the attack unfolded, Daniel and his brother Neria took shelter near an abandoned tank. Using their military experience and whatever resources they could find, they fought to protect those around them while Daniel treated wounded victims under fire.
But for Daniel, October 7 did not end when the shooting stopped.
After witnessing the enormous psychological and emotional toll the massacre was taking on fellow survivors, Daniel helped establish A Future for the Survivors and the Wounded, dedicated to helping survivors rebuild their lives.

The organization has provided hundreds of survivors with trauma care, psychological treatment, rehabilitation programs, community support and assistance returning to everyday life.

This evening will benefit A Future for the Survivors and the Wounded, supporting the continuing physical, emotional and psychological recovery of survivors of October 7 and others wounded by terror and war.
